When we came to ACSC, we felt a little overwhelmed with trying to find a church because there were so many from which to choose. We knew that we could try a different church each week during this short assignment, but we wanted to find one where we felt at home and that understood what we were going through as military members. We saw advertisements in several local publications about Gateway Baptist Church and decided to attend. The first thing we noticed was how friendly the people were.
They were so caring and accepting of us, even after they found out that we were military and that we would only be in town for less than a year. They really wanted to establish a relationship with us and encouraged us to get involved even though we would be leaving at the end of the year. Throughout our time at Gateway we met people who really cared about God, and cared about us. We made great friendships with both civilian and military personnel. Our children enjoyed participating in AWANA and other children’s ministry activities. The contemporary worship service has awesome music, and pastor Alan delivers great messages. While other churches may not take the time to invest in military personnel, Gateway really makes an effort to reach out to the local military personnel, no matter how short or long their time in Montgomery will be. God has really blessed us during our time at Gateway, and we would highly recommend it to military and civilians alike who are seeking a church who loves God and will love them.
Now we will be remaining in Montgomery
We LOVE your family! You are so special to us.

Anyone know how to get in touch with Kellie and Dan now? Kellie was my former college roommate and I've lost touch with her!
