Cakes for Prison Ministry

We need individuals to provide store-bought cakes for the graduation reception for the inmates receiving degrees from Liberty Bible College. The men are in the Bullock County prison where Lindy Waight ministers weekly. ( According to prison regulations, the cakes CANNOT be home-made.) Please have your cake here for pickup Thursday, December 1, no later that 2pm.

Thanksgiving schedule

No activities at the church facility on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Church office will be closed Nov. 23-25.

Thanksgiving Celebration

Sunday, November 20, at 6pm. We will have a covered dish supper in the gym. Meat and dressing will be provided so please bring vegetables, other side dishes and desserts. There will be a special time for sharing and prayer. If you have a testimony you would like to share please notify the office ahead of time. Childcare will be provided for birth to age 3 during the sharing and prayer time only.

Raising Financially Responsible Children Seminar

Please join us for a free seminar for parents where you will learn tips and techniques on how to teach your children about money, Information presented is geared towards parents whose children are between 3 and 18 years old. The seminar will be in the meeting room of the new building on Thursday, November 17th from 6:30-7:30pm and childcare will be provided. Daniel Paulk will be hosting and you can reach him at 274-4785.

Annual Churchwide Planning Meeting

On Sunday, November 13, at 6pm, we will have our annual congregational meeting where we look at and discuss the 2012 budget. Plans and proposals from our Pastoral Leadership Team will also be shared. Childcare will be provided.

Operation Christmas Child

Each year millions of shoe boxes are delivered to needy and hurting children all over the world through the minstry of Samaritan's Purse. Simply take an empty shoe box or small plastic container and fill with a variety of gifts that will bring delight to a child. Bring your filled boxes along with a $7 donation for each box to the church no later than November 16.

"Helping Without Hurting" Seminar

This seminar will be held on Saturday, November 12th from 7:30am-5pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church. This seminar will help you learn biblical principles and applications to help people without hurting them or yourself.
